KFO 329: a joint enterprise of the Medical Faculty and the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Cologne
The CRU329 combines and exploits internationally renowned expertise in podocyte research at the University Hospital of Cologne and basic science expertise at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Cologne, all located within walking distance on a single life science campus. Beyond Cologne, experts from Freiburg and Heidelberg have become part of this enterprise. We are convinced that our approach will ultimately result in practice-changing research, leading to improved diagnostics and tailored new treatment options that allow individualized treatment strategies in podocyte disorders not only limited to FSGS.
